A longtime resident of Greater Washington, D.C., Jonathan Jeffress has been practicing law as a partner with Kaiser PLLC since 2016. He is responsible for spearheading criminal defense in a variety of government investigations and white-collar cases. Jonathan Jeffress has successfully defended clients against charges of bribery and fraud, among other criminal and civil accusations.

Before joining the team at Kaiser, he served 12 years with the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the District of Columbia. Representing clients accused of federal crimes, he won a number of acquittals and successfully argued appeals. He also delivered lectures on police sting operations at other federal public defender offices nationwide. Mr. Jeffress garnered early experience as an associate with Washington, D.C.’s Williams & Connolly LLP.

Jonathan Jeffress sits on the board of directors of Rising for Justice and the Council for Court Excellence. Outside of the professional arena, he is an avid fly fisher and road racing enthusiast. He also likes to ski and hike.
